This philosophy can only be achieved through practicing Integrated Exercise (INTX) - an approach to fitness in which the client examines and challenges every aspect of his/her life, then makes the necessary changes to achieve and enjoy optimum health. The goal is to practice safe, efficient exercise form, to fuel the body with nutrient-dense foods, and to strive for balance in all things.

Degreed and certified, Liz has a BS Music Education plus 26 credits from The University of Wisconsin. Following seven years of teaching and ten years of raising two children, Liz attended The Cooper Institute on Aerobics and Medical Research in Dallas where she received certification in both Personal Fitness Training and Bio-mechanics of Strength. In 1998 Liz established Body Firm, a fully Integrated Exercise Service which has expanded to offer Personal Training, Corporate Counseling and Corporate packages, Motivational Speaking services, Nutritional Counseling and beginning in 2011, Hawaii Weekends. A consummate teacher and perfectionist in form and safety, Liz is a seasoned trainer and speaker, a prolific writer, and a teacher of personal trainers. Ms. Liz is the designer of Body Bands and author of the daily Lizlines.

Tom joined Body Firm in 1999. Currently the Chief Anesthetist (CRNA) at Scott and White Medical Center main campus, Tom spent many early years as a marathon runner and triathlete. During his 20-year service in the Air Force, Lt. Col. Davis competed in The Boston Marathon, The Hololulu Marathon, the Bloomsday Run and has participated in the MS150 cycle fundraiser from Houston (TX) to Austin for six years. Currently, he is Body Firm's cycling specialist and its Web Master and videographer.
